Welcome to WNY Festivals. Big Lou D has been compiling information on the Great and Numerous festivals, fetes, fairs and other fun events in the greater Buffalo area for years. This site is dedicated to sharing the events, reviews and family appropriateness for everything from food festivals to art shows to good old fashion beer tents in the area.

Summer is winding down ... get out to a FEST near you!
Fourteen Holy Helpers is hosting their first ever lawn fete this weekend. Hit 'N Run will rock the beer tent on Saturday. Sunday they are doing a one-day Polish Fest featuring live polka music and dance. Not too many good lawn fetes left. Stop on out and get this one off to great, hopefully long, run!
South Buffalo Italian Festival will be held on the lawn near the Botanical Gardens on South Park, near Lackawanna. SEveral good vendors will be on hand. Get out an enjoy some of your favorite Italian treats. Beer will be served, both domestic and Italian brews.
Taste of Lockport is this Sunday, the 21st. Why not try another Taste event. The smaller towns tend to have very manageable layouts and usually the congestion makes it an ok place to bring the family.
The Erie County Fair is still going strong. Lots of great bands, plenty of food choices, rides, animals, something for everyone. Look around for admission discounts.
Annunciation Church Lawn Fete is usually a good time. This year featuring Hit 'N Run and the Strangers means the beer tent should be a rockin'.
Not many weeks left with good choices for outdoor beers, live music or great summer foods. Pray for good weather and don't waste it.
